Seminar Presentations
Packer Engineering routinely provides our clients with seminars and training opportunities in support of our philosophy of life-long learning. Members of the manufacturing, industrial, technical, insurance, and litigation communities regularly benefit from the education opportunities we offer. All our educational programs are instructed by our experienced and expert engineers and staff. Our seminars cover a variety of topics and clients can customize a specific curriculum to meet their needs. Seminars may also be arranged for conferences, professional societies, and company training programs.
Knowledge Service Center
The Packer Knowledge Service Center's primary customers are company staff, however research is also done for outside businesses, and library materials may be used on site by appointment. To browse the Center's collection, access our Knowledge Exchange Network at http://library.packereng.com/ -- no log-in is required to have "Guest" access to the collection.
Intern Program
Packer Engineering’s summer internship program attempts to strengthen the link between the academic community and the professional engineering and business world through practical, hands-on experience. Our internship program provides a focused program for the growth and development of students in an engineering business environment. This program represents one of the many ways Packer Engineering encourages the continual education of students and engineers at all levels.
Through the internship program, Packer Engineering seeks to provide students with training and professional development in an applications/science-based, hands-on, learning environment. Interns come from a variety of backgrounds and educational experiences, but all have the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge in real world situations while developing communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. In order to maximize the educational value for our interns, this focused program provides several opportunities for learning, growth, and goal orientation. Each intern works closely with a mentor to coordinate projects and receive one-on-one guidance. Interns also participate in seminars, group presentations, and site visits to develop and receive exposure to new skills, new ideas, and new experiences. Each, carefully designed internship, aims to ensure the best value for both the student and the company. With this program, Packer Engineering ultimately seeks to contribute positively to the community as well as to the development of future scientists, engineers, and business professionals.
