Laser Scan of Federal Buildings
Packer Engineering was selected by the General Services Administration to perform a 3-D scan of the exterior of the Peachtree Summit Federal Building in Atlanta. Using new long-range scanning technology, Packer Engineering captured every feature on this 30-story building down to one-quarter inch in size! The completed computer model of the building can be manipulated and modified as an aid to architectural upgrades and assessments of the structure. Increasingly, government agencies and companies are finding the great value of having a computer model of a structure, a scene, or a subject, and seek out the services available from Packer Engineering.
