Dynamic Simulation & Animation

Dynamic simulation modeling is a computerized numerical technique used to solve the equations of motion of a system of interacting bodies and, to compute the resulting accelerations, velocities, displacements, and forces for the bodies in the system. Dynamic simulation software and computer animation techniques are often used by engineers as a tool to evaluate the dynamic characteristics, interactions, and response of mechanisms and mechanical systems. These capabilities also include the visualization of the interactions and responses of the mechanical systems on the computer screen which is used to study its behavior as well as to illustrate it in the courtroom. Our capabilities in this area include:

  • Kinematics of Mechanical Systems
  • 2-D and 3-D Dynamic Simulations of Mechanical Systems and Components
  • Accident Reconstruction and Animations
  • Animation of Engineering Mechanisms and Assemblies
