Information Specialist

As an Information Specialist with Packer Engineering, Ms. Hengehold handles reference requests and conducts research for engineering, technical and research and development staff. She is responsible for order processing, interlibrary loan management, cataloging, circulation and various library management tasks in connection with the collection of technical books, standards, journals, file literature and electronic resources. Additionally, she contributes to the Packer Foundation through grant writing.

Prior to pursuing her Masters in Library and Information Science, Ms. Hengehold spent twenty years in broadcasting and telecommunications. She was head of product development and audio production for a telecommunications firm, and provided professional voice-overs for thousands of phone systems across the country. She also was a public affairs producer and host, researching a wide variety of topics in preparation for her talk shows on WLAK and WLIT-FM.
