Mr. Sestak has over 15 years civil/structural engineering experience performing forensic investigations and assessments for structural and building envelope waterproofing failures; investigating existing building structural systems and components to identify failure modes, determining the extent of deterioration/damage, and identifying root causes and contributing factors. His expertise also covers investigating construction materials, methods, and special techniques required for unusual projects, as well as preparing engineering analyses and bid documents for major repair and renovation projects.

For many years, Mr. Sestak has performed property condition and due diligence assessments including preparation of 20+ year capital budgets, preparation & review of capital budgets for commercial & residential REITs, review of tenant alteration drawings for building code & ADA compliance, along with preparation of construction cost estimates and CPM schedules. He also provides construction administration oversight for complex capital improvement projects for commercial and residential properties.

Mr. Sestak is a licensed professional engineer in the states of Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.
