Douglas R. Meyer

Director, Mechanical Laboratory Services

Mr. Meyer specializes in electronics, instrumentation and mechanical testing. His current activities also include laboratory and field investigations, load testing, failure analysis, instrumentation, strain gauging, photographic documentation, machining and automotive accident reconstruction.

Prior to joining Packer Engineering in 1987, Mr. Meyer worked as an Electronic Technician and an Instrumentation Engineer for Miner Enterprises in their Railroad Products Research and Development Department. He also worked as an Electronic Technician for Fermi Lab in their Main Ring Controls group and Booster R F group. Prior to college, Mr. Meyer was a Set-up Electrician for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad.
