Director

Mr. Chun is a registered Architect in the State of Michigan and brings to his work at Packer Engineering more than 25 years of experience in Architecture and the Design and Construction Industry.

Based upon extensive design and construction experience, his expertise includes numerous aspects of Architectural Practice and Construction Management including: building survey and evaluation, master planning, conceptual design, programming, site design, interior design, construction detailing, production of architectural construction documents, project manual/specifications, entitlements estimating, bidding and contract award, contract administration, consultant/contractor/subcontractor coordination, contract management and business development. Throughout his career, Mr. Chun has played a prominent role on a wide variety of project types including historic preservation, retail, commercial, educational, institutional, industrial, religious, residential, theatrical and tenant fit out in the context of new construction, expansion, restoration, renovation and adaptive reuse.

Prior to joining Packer Engineering, Mr. Chun was a Construction Manager with Borders Group, Inc. Mr. Chun's previous positions include Project Manager at JM Olson Corporation (General Contractor), the Director of Operations for DeMattia Associates (Design/Build), Associate and Part Owner at Architects Four, Inc. (Architects), project Manager/Project Architect for the University of Michigan Facilities Planning & Design Division.

In addition to his Architectural License, Mr. Chun has the following certifications: OSHA 30-Hour Safety; Safe-2-Work; MDEQ Certified Storm Water Operator; Wal-Mart Certified Compliance Officer for Storm Water Pollution Prevention.
