Jay Martin

Technician

Jay Martin is a Technician with an extensive background in mechanical engineering, product design, and project management. Mr. Martin has over 18 years experience as a manufacturing specialist and mechanical engineering.

Since joining Packer Engineering, Inc., Mr. Martin has been the principle manufacturing specialist for the fabrication and manufacturing process of special projects.

Prior to joining Packer, Mr. Martin was the Manufacturing Manager for 3D West, where his responsibilities included: CNC operations, prototyping, industrial fixtures, vacuum forming, extrusion, part design, part manufacturing, process selection, prototype recommendation and selection. Additional duties included consulting and recommendations for clients in technical areas such as injection molding, machining, CNC, vacuum forming, extrusion, part design, part manufacturing, process selection, prototype recommendation and selection. Mr. Martin also holds two design patents.
