Joseph Paganessi

Mr. Paganessi has over 30 years of experience in chemical engineering, consulting, process engineering, equipment development and Research and Development.  Mr. Paganessi’s strengths include being a proven innovator and slf-starter who can work independently or in a team environment, his excellent problem solving and analytic skills.  He has extensive process development, design and control experience from concept through industrial prototypes utilizing membranes, absorption, adsorption, distillation, mass and heat transfer equipment.

Prior to joining Packer Engineering, he was employed by American Air Liquide, Air Liquide Group Senior Expert (1991-2007) performed engineering research and technical-economic studies in the areas of using cryogenic liquids for food processing and semiconductor manufacturing, Electronic Specialty Gases purification and delivery systems (distillation, adsorbtion, membrane separation processes), non-cryogenic gas separation/recovery systems such as adsorbents (carbon and silica mole sieves), and gas separation membranes.

Before 1991, Mr. Paganessi worked for the Institute of Gas Technology in Chicago, Illinois where he conducted research in the areas of gasification of fossil fuels and biomass to a synthetic natural gas, extraction of water via supercritical hydrocarbon fluids, and wet carbonization of peat to a high BTU solid fuel.
