Kevin Vosburgh, P.E., CFEI, CVFI

Mr. Vosburgh is a mechanical engineer specializing in the areas of vehicular component and systems testing; and vehicle dynamics and accident reconstruction related to automobiles, commercial vehicles, and off-highway construction equipment. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois (No. 062-059248). Mr. Vosburgh has training in computer-based accident simulations (HVE-3D) as well as analysis of pre-crash data recording technology in both automobiles and heavy trucks and is a certified CDR download technician and data analyst.

During his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Mr. Vosburgh was active in the Mini-Baja and Ethanol Vehicle Challenge competitions through SAE. Mr. Vosburgh has completed a Masters of Science Degree in Engineering with an emphasis on Automotive Systems. Graduate studies included vehicle safety components, vehicle chassis and suspension design, advanced vehicle dynamics, manufacturing operations, and finite element analysis of vehicle structures.  Mr. Vosburgh continually is taking professional development course work including numerous accident reconstruction classes, vehicle dynamics seminars and specific vehicle component analysis seminars.

Mr. Vosburgh gained experience at International Truck and Engine Company (formerly Navistar) with product development and reliability. His work there included reliability analysis of different engine components, failure reporting and engine testing. Also, he is an experienced automotive technician. He has worked specifically as a brake technician, a suspension and alignment technician, and as a general repair technician. Mr. Vosburgh also repairs, rebuilds, designs and races cars as a hobby.
