Project ManagerMichael Kaniuga has almost 7 years of experience in the environmental, health, & safety consulting fields. His experience includes comprehensive services in numerous fundamental areas within these fields.
Mr. Kaniuga is experienced with the principles and practices of industrial hygiene including the recognition, anticipation, evaluation, and control of a variety of occupational health issues in various environments. He has sampled for air contaminants and physical agents according to an assortment of methods and parameters including Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), National Institute for Occupational Health and Safety (NIOSH), and the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienist (ACGIH). In addition, his field experience includes assessments, surveying, and remedial supervision for indoor environmental quality (IEQ) contaminates, Asbestos, and Lead in a wide range of environments.
Mr. Kaniuga has an essential understanding of an abundant number of federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines, associated groundwater contamination, stormwater discharge (NPDES, BMPs, SWPPPs), National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), Leaking Underground Storage Tanks (LUSTs), and numerous additional federal, state, and local regulations. His field experience includes environmental site assessments (ESAs), surveying, soil and groundwater investigation, and remediation. He has organized, analyzed, interpreted, and evaluated the scientific data collected.
