Mr. Rogers is a mechanical engineer specializing in the areas of vehicular component and systems testing, vehicle dynamics and accident reconstruction related to automobiles, trucks, off-highway construction and material handling equipment. He also has expertise in the area of machine design relative to transportation, material handling, and manufacturing and industrial applications.

Mr. Rogers joined Packer Engineering in 1985 and became Director of Mechanical Engineering in 1993. In October 1994, Mr. Rogers was appointed Director, Detroit Operations, and was responsible for Packer Engineering's Troy, Michigan, office. In October of 1995, he was appointed Vice President of Detroit Operations. In June, 1997, he transferred back to the Naperville, Illinois, office to become Managing Vice President. Mr. Rogers became Vice President of the Transportation Department in January, 1999.

Mr. Rogers has been involved in projects related to transportation accident investigations and reconstruction, and has evaluated components and systems related to both on-highway and off-highway vehicles. He has also conducted testing and evaluation of mechanical systems and manufacturing and industrial equipment. He is experienced in vehicle manufacturing technology involving spot weld testing and evaluation. Mr. Rogers has conducted vehicle tests involving instrumentation and use of anthropomorphic dummies and has been involved in seat belt analysis to determine usage in crashes.

Mr. Rogers is a licensed Professional Engineer in the States of Illinois and Michigan and is ASE Certified in automotive and truck brake system repair. He is a member of Pi Tau Sigma National Mechanical Engineering Honorary Fraternity.
