Paul R. Crane
Senior Technician IMr. Crane joined Packer Engineering in 1981 as Building Manager, during which time he was involved in three building/ laboratory expansions. Mr. Crane is experienced in product design and development utilizing all available Rapid Prototyping (RP) technologies.
His primary responsibilities since 1992 have included Laminated Object Manufacturing (LOM), RP Manager and Lab Technician while working closely with the Rapid Prototyping and Rapid Tooling (RT) industries. He uses the LOM machine to build composite tooling. His experience includes reverse engineering, part validation and structural welding.
He is the lead technician for testing Firearm safety devices/enclosures for the California Department of Justice.
