Paul N. Fenoglio

Since joining Packer Engineering in 2003, Mr. Fenoglio has been responsible for designing and conducting laboratory testing, failure analysis, accident investigation and reconstruction, patent analysis as well as local business development. His mechanical and metallurgical investigations have included several automotive accidents (roll over, vehicle collision and fire) as well as the failure analysis of EPDM rubber. Patent analysis work has included the study of DC brushless motors, the valve assembly of hazardous compressed gas cylinders, and air pump valves. He has also designed, constructed and supervised several customized tests related to these investigations.

While interning at Packer, Mr. Fenoglio's involvement included the analysis of a six-cylinder piston engine, aircraft accident analysis, the construction, assembly, and testing of an exact replica of the 1903 Wright Brother's engine. He also conducted sales inquiries and contacted past clients in an effort to further develop business relationships. His role as an intern group leader made him responsible for research, management, testing, and presentations to clients. He participated in the development of Packer Engineering's Apprenticeship program for which he was the inaugural candidate. His customized program focused on several areas of the company including: Marketing, Laboratory Services, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Intellectual Property.

Mr. Fenoglio is active in Packer Wings, a not-for-profit organization that focuses on the education of students through aviation. He assists in teaching weekend classes and giving presentations at organizations and high schools.

His undergraduate studies focused on Aerospace engineering. Curriculum highlights included: compressible and incompressible flow, orbital mechanics, dynamics and stability, structures, propulsion, flight mechanics, materials, and astrophysics.

Prior to joining Packer Engineering, Mr. Fenoglio worked at Insituform Technologies Inc. as a structural and chemical testing technician. He also worked with Trendmasters Inc. as a customer service representative and research intern.
